Locally Owned, Supporting local Liquor and Brews

Cindy Chalamidas developed and  opened Louie's Pub and Grill in May of  1997. Cindy was inspired by her parents,Tom and Georgia Chalamidas, successful business owners  who have been in the bar business for over 40 years in Albuquerque. The bars they have owned were the Valencia Lounge, Jerrys Lounge, Mori's Lounge and the  Copper Lounge. The Copper Lounge has recently been revitalized and opened by Cindy. 

The goal for opening Louies was to recreate what her parents had done in the past.. They used  a  secret family  formula that kept their businesses alive over decades. To deliver good customer service with reasonable prices in a comfortable and safe atmosphere. She wanted to develop a fun and friendly neighborhood bar similar to "Cheers", the famous sitcom, where everybody knows your name ! And she did just that with  Louie's. Cindy would like to thank all of her loyal customers  and staff that have supported Louie's throughout the years and appreciate their business .Here's to Louies! Let's have many more !
